How Often Should I Service My Garden Machinery?
The answer to this isn’t a set answer, it varies dependent on your machine but you can find the answer question to this within your instruction manual. As a general rule machines should be serviced annually as a minimum, for machines in daily operation this should be more often.
Can I Service My Machine At Home?
Whilst it is recommended you take your machine to an authorised service agent, you can use a Stihl service kit to carry out a service at home.
What’s in A Stihl Service Kit?
Within these kits you will find everything you need to give your machine a basic service including a spark plug, fuel filter and an air filter. Each kit has a QR code on the back of the box which takes you to a video online showing you how to complete the service. The box itself has a handy pull out fuel filter remover which is required to remove your fuel filter so don’t throw away he box before you complete the service
