Category: Order
We accept all major credit and debit cards, included but not limited to Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Payment can also be made by Paypal via the website. We can also accept bacs bank transfer should you wish, simply email [email protected] with the item/s you require, the billing and shipping information and we will email back an official quote with our bank details for payment to be made. We can also accept cheque but goods will not be released until the cheque has cleared which can be take up to 10 working days. Cash can also be paid via our showroom. We CANNOT accept cash on delivery.
Payment is taken at the point the order is placed online, should there be any issues with payment our team will contact you.
We dispatch most of our goods from our central warehouse located in Buxton, Derbyshire. However to increase speed of delivery some products may be delivered directly from the manufacturer's own distribution centres. All goods are delivered via a reputable national carrier.
Should you wish to cancel an order which has not been dispatched please email [email protected] with the subject ‘cancel order’, please include your order information in the email to cancel. If you order has been dispatched before the email has been received, we cannot cancel the order this would then need to be returned as per our returns information.
We tend to offer the very best pricing online on each product we sell, should you wish for us to look into a price match please email all the information of the price match to [email protected] who will be able to look into this for you.
Information security is a top priority at World of Power, our triple protection process guards your details when you order online with us. World of Power fully comply with the data protection act and we use a reputable card payment solution Opayo or Paypal to process card transactions, we never see your full details. We are as secure as can be.
Category: Delivery
Our cut off for next day delivery is currently 3pm, orders placed after this time will not be processed for dispatch until the next working day.
No, unfortunately some items need to be ordered from a central warehouse or come direct to you from the central warehouse. We can only offer next day delivery on items showing as ‘IN STOCK’. If next day delivery is available on your order this will be offered and quoted for within the checkout.
Each item on the website has a delivery time listed within the product information, dispatch time is also listed within the checkout. As each item is different you would need to refer to these pages to quote a delivery time. If any further delays are expected with delivery our team will contact you to discuss your options. Pallet deliveries generally leave the same day if ordered before 3pm, the standard delivery service for a pallet is a ‘book in service’ where the courier company will be in contact when they receive the pallet to arrange delivery directly with you. Any upgraded delivery paid for such as ‘NEXT DAY’ will be dispatched on a next day service – the courier will not be in contact to arrange delivery this is a standard next day ‘all day’ courier service.
At the point that your parcel is dispatched from our warehouse you will receive an e-mail confirmation giving you full tracking information and a link to the courier partner’s website - please double check your junk box as sometimes emails can land here. To track your pallet delivery, please contact World of Power with your name and full delivery postcode.
If you order several items together and one is out of stock this will delay the whole order being dispatched, this will automatically default to the longest lead time product on the order. We do not part ship orders as standard, if you wished for us to part ship the order there may be an additional surcharge to do so.
We can deliver items showing as ‘IN STOCK’ on a Saturday should you wish, this option is at an additional premium. If Saturday delivery is available on your order this will be offered and quoted for within the checkout.

Orders under £100 are subject to delivery, orders over £100 include standard free of charge delivery but unfortunately there are some postcodes which incur additional costs from the couriers which we cannot cover, more information can be found under the delivery section of our website - https://www.worldofpower.co.uk/shipping.html
For parcel deliveries the courier will leave you a card with their details and consignment number giving full information on how to re-arrange the delivery. For pallet deliveries the courier service will only attempt delivery once, the standard delivery is a ‘book in’ service meaning the courier will call to arrange a suitable day and time slot for you, the next day delivery option is an all-day service we cannot guarantee a time unfortunately. Should no one be home to accept delivery on the arranged day additional charges will apply.
All items are sent out on a signed for delivery service, should you wish for your order to left safe please email [email protected] with your order information stating where you would like the order leaving and confirming you take full responsibility for the item being left. Our team will look into your order and confirm if we can leave goods without a signature. Goods will be left entirely at your own risk.
Unfortunately drivers are not insured for their vehicle or equipment to enter privately owned property. With this in mind pallet deliveries are officially a ‘kerbside delivery’ regardless of the equipment available to the driver for unloading. With this being said some drivers when met with a friendly face and a bit of help will do their best to leave deliveries somewhere more convenient than the roadside but please do note that the driver is not obliged to do so – this is completely at the discretion of the driver.

Category: Returns
Orders can be returned in an unused resalable condition, please see our returns page for more information.
We are sorry to hear your item has not arrived in the expected condition, please email [email protected] with your order information, a description of the damage and also images of the damage where possible to allow us to rectify the issue quickly. Please note all damages must be reported within 2 working days of delivery.
If the product you purchased is not fit for it's intended purpose (purpose it was designed for NOT what you intended to use the item for) or as described, we will offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate and in accordance with your legal rights. Please email [email protected] with your order information and a description of the issue and any images support the fault so our team can swiftly assist you in rectifying the fault.
We are sorry to hear you have an issue with a product delivered, please email [email protected] with your order information and information on the item received and the item ordered. Any supporting images can be attached to the email to help rectify the discrepancy quickly.
Refunds will only be processed once goods have been received back and have been inspected. Once processed, refunds usually appear back within your account within 3-5 days of the refund being processed. Orders originally placed online will receive a credit note confirming the refund via email once the refund has been processed.

Yes our Buxton showroom is open Monday – Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 9am – 12pm. Periodically we may have an active discount code which will only be available on our social media or channels – we do not advertise discount codes on other voucher websites. Please ensure your discount code is one currently advertised by World of Power. The World of power team members have no prior knowledge of when discount codes will be available or any indication when they will finish
Yes all chainsaws sold by World of Power contain the engine unit, bar, chain and scabbard as standard, in the selected length.
World of Power now offer a premium assembly service where we will build and test your chainsaw prior to dispatch, this is an additional service which carries a premium. Any item which has this service available will offer this within the product page. Should you have any specific requirements not available via the website please email [email protected] with as much information as possible so we can assist you quickly.
World of Power register Stihl and Makita items on your behalf when the good are dispatched so there is no need for you to do anything. Husqvarna products will need to be registered by yourself once they have been received. Some Makita branded products can be registered for an additional 2 years warranty via the Makita UK website which must be done by the purchaser within 30 days of purchase. For all other brands please refer to the user manual on the warranty terms and conditions.
We are very sorry to hear you are unhappy and wish to make a complaint; please email [email protected] OR write to our office address found within the contact us section of our website addressing to the Customer Services Manager. Please include full details of the complaint and someone from the management team will look into the matter and look to resolve the issue for you quickly. We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 working days.
Where possible we supply free of charge items as per the description on the website, however we reserve the right to supply an alternative product to the same quality and value if necessary depending on stock levels.
Yes, at World of Power you will not be bombarded with emails, we do occasionally send out related emails to products you have purchased but this is not very often to avoid annoyance. And of course you can opt out if you do not wish to receive any emails from us. We never share information with third parties other than registering certain models of machinery with their respective manufacturers for warranty purposes.
We are very sorry to hear that your chainsaw won’t start for you. In most cases if a chainsaw will not start it is down to an incorrect staring procedure, engine flooding or poor / old fuel. To eliminate these issues please click our guide here.
