Stihl's most powerful battery operated chainsaw, the MSA300 professional cordless chainsaw offers an impressive 3kW of electric power from its robust brushless motor. Suitable for demanding users such as agricultural, forestry professionals or gardeners and builders, the Stihl MSA300 chainsaw powerful and responsive.
The MSA 300 Stihl saw comes with 3 operating modes to ensure every task is catered for. The three operating modes adjusts the power and varies the chain speed to tailor to each job, Eco mode reduces the chain speed to 20m/s and is ideal for smaller log diameters, The ECO mode gives longer battery operating time and has a lower energy consumption. The next mode is the All-round or felling mode, this gives chain speeds of 24m/s and is ideal for use such as felling, cutting to length or handicraft work that is less dependent on high speeds. Next up is the Delimbing mode which is the most powerful mode offering 30m/s chain speeds and 3.0kw power. This mode gives you full power and is ideal for delimbing and tending young strands.
Offering excellent balance, the Stihl saw has an ergonomic handle and provides a comfortable use for long periods of time. Lightweight at just 5.4kg, the MSA300 comes with a 14"/35cm Light 04 guide bar and RS3 pro chain for excellent cutting performance. An adjustable oil pump is fitted to the underside of this Stihl chainsaw to allow you to control the oil for each individual task.
Fitted with a fleece air filter for integrated air cooling allowing the chainsaw to guarantee excellent performance every time. The MSA300 model comes as a body only unit that is designed to be used with the AP500S lithium ion battery (see related products). Used together with this battery, the MSA 300 chain saw is weather resistant and can be used in all weather conditions.
