Economic and highly efficient, this robust battery operated chainsaw is the ideal solution for most wood cutting jobs within the demanding tree care sector. Offering 40% higher chain speed and 15% increased motor performance compared to its predecessor. The MSA161T chainsaw is compatible with AP batteries with a run time of 62 minutes when used with the AP300S battery. Weighing in at just 2.5kg the machine is very lightweight along with being ergonomically styled for use over extended periods through the use of a vibration absorption system. An optimum specification, top handled saw for the most demanding requirements of tree surgeons and arborists alike.
Designed with an extended interlock which provides a more comfortable grip and a side lock button for increased safety. Built with a side access chain tensioner for hassle-free maintenance, the chainsaw features a Picco Micro 3 chain with a pitch of 1/4" that provides less chain chatter for a smooth and precise cut. With superb power to weight capabilities and an outstanding centre of balance, coupled with cutting edge anti-vibration technology, this cordless saw offers extremely low noise eliminating the need to wear ear defenders. The saw features a large carry ring for attaching the saw for aerial use.
