The Stihl MS231 petrol chainsaw is great for cutting firewood, felling small trees and general wood cutting. Designed with demanding domestic users, farmers and general landscape maintenance requirements in mind.
Built to be economic in use with 70% lower emission output and 20% lower fuel consumption, this high performance chainsaw is the ideal solution for most wood cutting chores and property maintenance. The Stihl MS231 chainsaw features a powerful 42.6cc 2-Mix petrol engine with a power output of 2.0 kW and a guide bar length of 16" / 40cm with 3/8" PM3 chain.
Weighing in at just 4.8kg, the machine is ergonomically styled for use over extended periods through the use of a vibration absorption system. This reduces the engine oscillations and dampens vibration in the handle.
With a side access chain tensioner, and one piece shroud for hassle-free maintenance, the chainsaw features easy chain tension for precise cutting every time. For optimal running in all weather conditions. the Stihl chain saw has been designed with a summer/winter operation shutter.
