The Stihl MS181C-BE petrol chainsaw has been designed for the demanding domestic user around the home or for property maintenance, with all the great features of the MS181 but with the addition of the Stihl ErgoStart, Quick Chain Tensioner and primer bulb.
The ErgoStart featured on the MS 181 C-BE chainsaw allows for simple and easy starting every time thanks to the spring assisted recoil which allows the recoil to be pulled with just one third of the normal force required. This cuts the effort of starting the tool by half and with a gentle pull the chainsaw will fire into life.
With a 14" cutting bar, the Stihl MS181C-BE features a PM3 3/8" P chainsaw chain which cuts wood effortlessly and reduces the risk of kickback. Quick chain tensioning is fitted to the MS181 CB-E model which offers hassle free maintenance when adjusting the chain tension. The chain sprocket is released with a flip lock, the chain can easily be adjusted with a thumb wheel and without the need for tools.
A powerful 2-MIX Stihl engine with 31.8cc powers this chainsaw and delivers an excellent power output of 1.5kW. The 2-MIX engine with stratified charge provides reduced emissions and improved fuel consumption by up to 20%.
Offering superb balance which gives you complete control while cutting wood, felling trees or logging. The oscillations from the chainsaws engine are dampened by the anti-vibration mounts which are fitted to this model, this provides a more user friendly experience and allows you to cut in comfort for longer.
