Description
Stihl MS 172 chainsaw comes with a powerful 2-MIX petrol engine with the choice of a 12" or 14" guide bar and chain to suit a range of log cutting and general property maintenance.
With the power equivalent to the Stihl MS 180 chainsaw, the MS 172 comes with a modernised design which is less boxy and more streamline for comfortable user. A control lever which automatically returns to idle is also features which reduced the risk of flooding and poor starting on the chainsaw.
Anti-vibration springs are fitted to the Stihl MS 172 model, this reduces user fatigue in hands while using the chainsaw for prolonged periods of time and gives a smoother cutting experience. Transparent fuel tanks make it clearer to see when fuel and oil is required to be topped up.
Chain tensioning can easily be accessed from the side mounted chain tensioner. Fitted with a 31.8cc engine which provides 1.4 kW power output makes the Stihl MS 172 chain saw an ideal choice for a range of maintenance and felling jobs.
