With a powerful 55.5cc 2-MIX petrol 2 stroke engine that delivers power to the large 18" Rollomatic E guide bar which is fitted with a .325" RM chainsaw chain for excellent cutting capabilities.
Built with a 2-MIX petrol engine, the MS 291 chain saw is economical and provides up to 20% fuel saving compared to a standard Stihl 2-stroke engine, this results in reduced exhaust emissions by up to 50%. With a 1-in-4 channel which swirl the fuel-air mix before ignition which allows for optimum combustion and high efficient performance, this also results in a higher torque across a broad rpm range.
Offering perfect balance with excellent power to weight ratio, the Stihl MS291 saw comes with an effective anti-vibration system which provides the user with reduces vibrations and comfort at the handles for prolonged periods of time.
The MS291 has a side mounted chain tensioner is feature on this model of Stihl saw for easy access tensioning of the chain without needing to remove the sprocket cover. For optimum working conditions in all weather, the chainsaw features summer and winter modes.
