Stihl MS 271 18" petrol Chainsaw has been designed with landowners, agricultural and horticultural users in mind, for tasks such as cutting and harvesting firewood and felling trees. Featuring a 50.2cc petrol 2 stroke engine from Stihl for reliable and powerful performance.
Durable chainsaw for all-round use comes with a large 40cm / 16" Light 04 guide bar with a .325" RM3 Pro saw chain for improved cutting performance. Fitted with a 2-MIX petrol engine which offer up to 20% lower fuel consumption and up to 50% reduction in exhaust emissions compared with other 2-stroke engines.
M-Tronic system is features on the MS271 which recognises cold or warm start and supplied the correct amount of fuel on demand. Simply flip the lever into the position and start the chainsaw, full throttle can be applied straight away - even on a cold start as the chainsaw is warmed up by optimum acceleration in a few seconds.
Easy to service and maintain, the MS271 18" saw comes with side mounted chain tensioning, this remove the needs for contract with the sharp chain teeth. Tool-less filler caps on the fuel and oil port allow you to open and lock these without the need for a tool.
