Description
The Stihl GHE355 powerful combination electric shredder boasts a 2000w electric motor designed to handle both larger quantities of hard tree cuttings as well as softer plant trimmings and garden waste. Capable of cutting brances up to 35mm in diameter this shredder has a special sandwich type blade system which shreds material with minimal vibrations with additional wing blades and ripping blades which shred the material perfectly and ensure the shredding chamber remains clean. Built with a soundproofed chute which facilitates the feeding of the shredder and reduces working noise for a more comfortable working environment.
Designed with a Bladerotation Reverse System (BRS) reversal mechanism which rotates the direction of the blade via a rotary switch. Activating specific blades in a clockwise director to shred hard and woody shredding material whilst in anti-clockwise direction the blades will shred soft plant trimmings into compostable material. This system allows you to shred large volumes of material while helping maintain the sharpness of the special blades for longer.
Features a electromagnetic safety lock to prevent the shredder from starting automatically during maintenance of when the blade is being changed. This switch is integrated in the opening mechanism on the shredder. As soon as the closure screws on the machine are unscrewed, the safety switch is tripped and the current flow is interrupted.
Built on two wheels for ease of movement around the garden this shredder has a wide chassis to ensure stability of the shredder.
