Within the Stihl AK range there is a two step battery insertion system which allows you to store a battery in position one if you wished but it is recommended batteries are stored within the house to maintain a good temperature.

Stihl FSA60R Brushcutter
The Stihl FSA60R brush cutter has a lightweight design with excellent cutting performance. Suitable for medium to large domestic gardens and part of the Stihl AK Compact range, the FSA60 trimmer is recommended to be used with the AK20 battery and AL101 battery charger (sold separately).
With the inline placement of the motor, the brush cutter offer superb balance and control. The loop handle allows for comfort and the easy to reach trigger has been designed to offer comfortable use with a soft grip handle. Featuring a spacer bracket to allow you to cut close to tress or flower boarders without the risk of damage.
Featuring a AutoCut C6-2 mowing head which automatically adjust the line out with a simple tap on the ground allowing you to trim continuously without the need to stop to extend the line. Loading the line is easy and does not require any tools. the FSA60R is also suitable with the PolyCut 6-2 head if you prefer to cut with poly blades rather than trimmer line, see accessories tab.
PLEASE NOTE - this is a naked machine, no battery or charger is included as standard.
*Working time with recommended AK20 battery is up to 30 minutes (with nylon mowing head) and depending on other working conditions.
