Within this new compact range there is a two step battery insertion system which allows you to store a battery in position one if you wished but it is recommended batteries are stored within the house to maintain a good temperature.

Stihl FSA57 Grass Trimmer
Offering a lightweight design, the FSA57 grass trimmer is easy to use with exceptional cutting performance of lawn edges and small areas of grass. With a cutting diameter of 280mm, the FSA57 comes with a AutoCut C 3-2 trimmer head which automatically extend the cutting line by a simple tap on the ground, allowing continuous mowing without the need to stop. Once the line has run out, the AutoCut C3-2 trimmer head is easy to refill without the need for tools. The trimmer features a practical spacer bracket to allow you to mow close to obstacles such as trees or flower boarders.
The shaft on the FSA57 grass trimmer is adjustable in height to suit the users height and offering perfect balance, easy to adjust with a press of a button. The loop handle can also be adjusted without the need of tools. A soft grip handle provides comfort and the triggers are easy to hold and offer optimal comfort.
Suitable for medium to large domestic gardens and part of the Stihl AK System range, the FSA57 grass trimmer runs with the AK battery range and can offer up to 50 minutes run time with the AK20 battery or 25 minutes with the AK10 battery.
If you need to cut thicker, more woody material a brush cutter with a grass cutting blade or brush knife would be more suitable. You can also fit the PolyCut 3-2 head to the FSA 57, which uses plastic mowing blades for strimming thicker areas of grass.
