Within the Stihl compact range there is a two step battery insertion system which allows you to store a battery in position one if you wish but it is recommended batteries are stored indoors within the house to maintain a good temperature.

Stihl BGA57 Compact Cordless Blower
Powered by a 36v lithium ion battery from the Stihl AK range the Stihl BGA57 cordless leaf blower is ideal for clearing leaves, twigs and debris from around the patio, driveway and garden. Designed with a simple operating system whereas the battery is inserted into the machine and the trigger is pulled to start blowing immediately. The high 55m/s max airspeed, 750 m3/h max air flow and 9N blowing force shows the power of this compact blower.
Designed to be lightweight at only 3.3kg including the AK20 battery, the Stihl BGA 57 blower is very comfortable and easy to use with a new design to offer superb balance and better blowing performance. Teamed with the soft handle user fatigue is greatly reduced even during longer periods of use. The blower features a fully adjustable blower tube benefits different height users with a quick twist and pull/push movement so you can stand in a comfortable position during use. Once you have finished the task at hand, the machine can be hung securely on the wall with the hanging eye which is built into the handle housing.
With a low noise level of just 79dB(A), this Stihl AK System battery range leaf blower is so quiet you don't even need to wear ear protection during use.
Comes complete with AK 20 battery and AL 101 charger from the compact range.
