Description
Heavy duty versatile machine for both grinding and linishing, the SIP 01459 comes with an 8" grinding wheel and a 2" linishing belt. Fitted on a bench mounted machine with a cast iron base, the grinder/linisher is sturdy and an ideal machine for a range of metal work such as grinding, shaping and smoothing.
With a powerful induction motor which offers 2890rpm for outstanding performance, the SIP 01459 comes with an adjustable LED work light so you have a clear visibility on whichever side of the machine you are using.
The abrasive grinding wheel supplied is 200mm in diameter, 16mm in thickness and has a 20mm bore. Fitted with a tool rest to maintain the correct working angle, the grinder also has a fitted eye shield, stone guard and spark arrestor for added safety.
The linisher belt fitted is 710mm x 50mm and ideal for ferrous metals including mild steel, tool steels, copper and brass. For safe operation the linisher belt comes with a work table deflector to direct debris away from the work area. When the linisher belt needs replacing, a quick release cover and internal pulley are feature to easily remove and replace the belt.
