Description
Stylish stainless steel gas barbecue from Outback, the Meteor 4 will make a stunning addition to your patio or garden allowing you to dine al fresco and cook outside all year round. This well built, high quality barbeque comes with 4 stainless steel burners with a large cooking area giving you versatility to cook for a friends at a party or simply just family.
The large 64cm x 42cm cooking area is made up of porcelain coated cooking grills that sit over four stainless steel burners which are individually controlled by control knobs and lit with a reliable piezo ignition system (this does require 1 x AA battery). Sitting above the burners are 4 flamer tamers which act to flavourizer the food. These flame tamers protect the burners from any food juices and fats released while cooking and the heat from the flame tamers turn the juices into vapour which flavours your food and gives a BBQ taste. A drip tray sits at the base of the BBQ and will capture any drips that don't hit the flame tamers.
The Meteor BBQ comes with a large stainless steel roasting hood with an integrated thermometer which gives you full control over the cooking temperatures. The barbeque offers versatile cooking, you can grill on the BBQ with the lid open this is perfect for grilling burgers, sausages, steaks, etc. Alternatively you can roast or slow cook large joints of meat for tender, fall apart meat every time. To slow roast turn the outer burners on low and turn off the inners burners and cook with this roasting hood closed.
Two side shelves are featured on this model of Outback BBQ which provides excellent area for food preparation. The side shelf to the left of the cooking area boasts an integrated side burner which is the perfect place to cook accompanying side dishes. When the side burner is not in use, a lid covers the side burner ring over and the shelf can be used for storage or preparation.
Sitting within the BBQ hood is a handy warming rack, this is the ideal place to keep cooked food warm until you're ready to serve it. Built on an enclosed cart with two doors to the front allowing access into the storage area underneath which is ideal for storing condiments and crockery.
