Cordless scarifier from Makita, the UV001G offers low noise levels and quiet operation. Ideal for lawns that need attention on moss problems, the thatcher will work to remove moss and deposited lawn clippings can be collected in the large 50 litre collector bag.
Powered by the 40vMAX XGT lithium ion range of batteries for long run times and effortless working. The 38cm working width can be adjusted to +5mm and -12mm. A battery capacity warning function alerts you to low battery power.
Soft grip handles can be easily folded down for space saving while in transit or storage. The Makita UV001G is powered by 1 x 40vMAX XGT battery but this scaifier has twin battery slots to hold two batteries, so when runs out of charger the next battery can take over, providing longer run times without interruption.
When using with a BL4080 battery with the Thatching blade at 0mm the scarifier will work up to 510m² and with the vertical cutter at -4mm it will work up to 500m².
Backed by a standard 1 year warranty which can be extended for an additional 2 years when registered online within 30 days of purchase.
Available as a Kit with 2 x BL4040 4aH batteries and DC40RB Charger, or as a Body Only unit.
