Description
Powerful brushcutter from Makita, the UR016 provides the power and performance of a petrol brushcutter while being low maintenance, low noise levels and giving zero direct emissions without compromising the power.
The Makita UR016G comes with a hollow drive shaft which provides a lightweight design resulting in excellent power to weight ratio, this ensures the user has a comfortable working experience while using the brushcutter for prolonged periods of time. With cow horn style handles the UR016G has the controls for the brushcutter mounted at the users fingertips. With three speed settings to choose from, along with constant speed control, if you have something tangled in the trimmer head a reverse function allows you to rotate the head in the reverse direction.
Soft start is featured on this model of brushcutter, along with an electric brake and anti-restart function for added user safety. ADT (Automatic Torque Drive Technology) allows the machine to automatically vary the rpm to suit the density of material that is being cut, this saves on energy resulting in longer battery run times.
For additional safety, the Makita UR016 brushcutter comes with AFT (Active Feedback Sensing Technology) which will sense if the machine suddenly stops or becomes jammed and will shut down the tools motor, this protects the user.
*For use with Makita XGT Batteries, this item is not compatible with the LXT range of batteries.
*1 year manufacturing warranty can be extended 2 years when registered online within 30 days of purchase.
