Offering exceptional power from a cordless line trimmer, the Makita UR014G has the performance to rival a petrol line trimmer. With 1,500 w max output and high torque mode, the Makita UR014G is a highly effective line trimmer powered by Makita 40vMAX XGT lithium ion battery range which offers a lightweight design with low noise levels, zero direct emissions and low maintenance requirements.
The Makita UR014G has reverse rotation trimmer head which allows you to choose the direction of the rotation, this controls the direction that the grass clippings land and is ideal for when working on a lawn next to a driveway allowing you to send the clippings back onto the grass and not your driveway or parked car. Memory function will remember the rotation you set on the last use.
With perfect power to weight ratio, the UR014 cordless strimmer gives you great control when mowing around lawn edges and other obstacles. Variable speed control and a constant speed control make using this line trimmer a pleasure. Soft start is fitted to make sure start is smooth and an electric brake on this model stops the machine in good time. Anti-start up ensures safety when the machine is placed on the floor so that no accidental start up happens. Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) ensure you always get the best performance on the line trimer, regardless of the mowing conditions.
*Backed by a standard 1 year warranty which can be extended for an additional 2 years when registered online within 30 days of purchase.
