Description
With a powerful brushless motor from the 40v max XGT battery range, the UE001GZ Edger offers power and performance to rival a 30cc petrol equivalent while all the benefits of a battery operated machine. Including low noise levels, zero direct emissions, lower maintenance requirements and lower running costs.
The Makita UE001GZ comes with a 203mm blade which is adjustable via a wheel and has a maximum cutting depth of 59mm. Fitted with a blade guard which protects the user while also providing visibility of the blade and a line on the guard allows you to keep cutting centrally. A chip deflector is fitted to the rear of the guard to protect from debris.
Well balanced, the Makita cordless edger comes with a loop handle which is adjustable to suit each user’s height. Variable speed can be achieved from the trigger along with a new lock off mechanism, which when engaged will keep the machine powered on for 5 minutes.
