The UC002GD202 is powered by a 40vMax XGT Lithium-ion battery and is tailored for the professional user in mind. This model is lightweight with a 25cm cutting bar and features a ergonomic soft grip handle for added comfort. The sprocket nose bar and captive nuts prevent the loss of nuts when replacing the chain or guide bar. With a fast chain speed of 0 – 24.8m/sec this saw is ideal for single handed pruning or for when working at height.
Makita no longer make petrol chainsaws - their view is that these are as good if not better than the petrol models, with less waste and noise.
Designed with a direct drive system and brushless motor which allows less power to be drawn from the battery without reducing performance or run times. The variable speed trigger has a soft start feature for more accurate cutting performance and an electric chain brake for additional safety. This top handled chain saw also benefits from chain oil adjustment with oil level viewing window.
This model comes with the 191J85-5 power source kit containing 2 x BL4025 XGT 2.5ah batteries & DC40RA charger in Makpak case.
