Makita LXT Twin 18v Range
The Makita Twin 18v Range, offers more power and longer run times without leaving the same battery platform. Create 36v of power by running two 18v batteries together on a twin battery compatible machine. This also allows different battery capacities to be used together on the same tool no matter the charge level. For example, you can use a 4.0Ah and 3.0Ah LXT battery together to create 36v of power even if one is at 100% charge and the other 80%. The machine will stop when the lower capacity battery is empty!
Within this range you can use the BL1830 (3.0Ah), BL1840 (4.0Ah), BL1850 (5.0Ah) or the BL1860B (6.0Ah) 18v Makita batteries together.
