Robust and powerful twin 18V cordless angle grinder from Makita, the DGA901ZUX2 requires two 18V LXT Makita batteries creating a massive 36v of power. With a soft start and electric brake, the angle grinder is comfortable to use featuring a ergonomically designed handle with soft grip and a large trigger with lock off function. The Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) will automatically shuts the tool down when blade rotation slows down to reduce the risk of kick back and improving safety.
With a 230mm diameter blade and a 22.23mm bore size, the angle grinder can fit blades with a thickness of 6.5mm and has a no load speed of 6,000 rpm. With low vibration levels of 7.0 m/s² the angle grinder is comfortable to use for prolonged periods of time. The DGA901ZUX2 features Automatic torque Drive Technology (ADT) which takes in to consideration the loads and adjusts the cutting speed accordingly ensuring you have optimal cutting every time.
The DGA901UZX2 offers AWS - Auto-Start Wireless System which, when used with Makita dust extractors, uses Bluetooth technology to automatically start the dust extractor when the angle grinder is started.
Sold as a body only unit, this angle grinders require 2 x 18V LXT Makita lithium ion batteries.
