Whether your on site, on holiday, hitting the beach or the road, this cordless Makita microwave is the ideal solution to hot food wherever you may be!
This large 8 litre capacity cordless microwave is powered by one or two batteries from the 40v Max XGT lithion range and will use the power sequentially so that you can have continuous power when you need it. It has the ability to heat food at 500w for fast heating of food or 350w for less unevenness or over boiling liquids, the 500w power is a temporary boost function. The microwave will automatically switch from 500w to 350w after around 8 minutes. The power settings is easily changed using the control panel on the top of the microwave. The heating area is 241 x 255 x 120mm which is large enough to fit most commonly used microwave suitable containers, the plate within the microwave does not spin like conventional microwaves this stays put during heating.
Designed with an LED display panel which also shows the battery gauge, this cordless microwave also features a mains power button, power selection button, pause/stop button and a heating time adjustment dial. The heating time can be pre-set in 10 second increments up to 20 minutes.
If the microwave door is not opened for 1 minute after the timer has finished, 3 short beeps will sound every 1-2 minutes to notify the user that they have left their food in the microwave. There is a internal cavity light which lights up when the door is opened and during heating. The door is a left hinged side opening door. The microwave will not heat when it is tilted more than 30° or when the door is open for safety.
As this appliance is designed to be used on the go such as building sites, it is designed to be dust and water resistant to minimise the chances of the appliance being accidentally broken during use. Manufactured with tempered door glass which is hard to break this microwave has been designed to be tough and rugged. The large carry handles allows it to be easily carried to and from the location it is required. It also features a USB port which allows you to charge devices such as mobile phones - perfect for that lunch time power boost. Easy to clean and maintain.
