The powerful 450w electric motor produces 3100spm no load speed allowing a 65mm maximum cutting capacity in wood and 6mm in steel. With variable drive speeds which is controlled using the large 2 finger trigger which also features a lock on button for continuous use and increased user comfort.
With an ergonomically designed handle with a rubberised soft grip which fits in your hand perfectly for maximum comfort and control during use. Should you wish to do so you can connect this tool to a dust extractor to keep the working area clear and free from dust. Comes complete with a bayonet (universal) shank jigsaw blade which is easily changed using a hex wrench which can be found in the holder on the body of the machine.
Backed by a 12 month manufacturing warranty which can be extended a further 2 years when registered online with Makita within 30 days of purchase.
