Designed for homeowners and DIY'ers, this MT Series Makita random orbit sander has a heavy duty construction to match that of all Makita tools but with an affordable price tag. Robust and reliable with a compact and lightweight design, this machine will make light work of tasks thanks to the powerful 240w motor delivering 24000rpm max no load speed.
Offering an excellent sanding performance with 12000 orbits per minute this sander accepts pads to a size of 125mm where hook and loop type abrasive paper can be used. Features an on/off rocker switch and sanding brake pad for added operator protection whilst the 2m power cord is double insulated.
The ergonomically designed handle fits perfectly into the users hand and boasts a rubberised soft grip handle for maximum comfort and control. Designed with a high dust extraction rate this sander has a built in dust collection system but is also connectable to a dust extractor to help keep the work area clean and dust free.
Backed by a 12 month manufacturing warranty which can be extended a further 2 years when registered online with Makita within 30 days of purchase.
