Designed for homeowners and DIY'ers, this MT Series Makita plunge router has a heavy duty construction to match that of all Makita tools but with an affordable price tag. With a high performance 900w motor which produces a maximum 27000 rpm no load speed. 1/4" (6mm) & 3/8" (8mm) collet capacity and a 0-35mm plunge capacity with conveniently located plunge lock lever for efficient operation.
To suit different tasks, this router has a 3 stage cut depth adjustment with easy-to-read depth scales. The trigger switch is easily operated using the right hand grasping the ergonomically designed handle with rubberised soft grip which fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. Featuring a flat top design with raised ribs for added convenience when changing bits this model also features a chip deflector and the option to connect to a dust extractor should you wish.
This MT series plunge router is able to perform long straight cut with optional Guide rail adapter set and Guide rail.
Backed by a 12 month manufacturing warranty which can be extended a further 2 years when registered online with Makita within 30 days of purchase.
