Description
A top handled professional chain saw, the UC003G is powered by a 40v XGT Li-ion battery which powers a brushless motor to allow less power to be drawn from the battery without reducing performance or run time. This chain saw is lightweight with a 12" bar and features a comfortable ergonomic soft grip handle. Other features include a direct drive system, sprocket nose bar and captive nuts to prevent the loss of nuts when replacing the chain or guide bar. With a fast chain speed of 0 – 24.8m/sec, this saw is ideal for tree surgeons when single handed pruning is required or when working at height.
Makita no longer manufacture Petrol chainsaws, their view is that battery has as much power if not more that petrol - it is safer and long term more economical. So why not make it your new option.
Designed with a variable speed trigger which has a soft start feature for more accurate cutting and an electric chain brake for added safety. This top handled chainsaw also benefits from automatic chain oil adjustment with oil level viewing window.
This top handled chainsaw kit includes the 191J85-5 power source kit containing 2 x BL4025 XGT 2.5ah batteries & DC40RA charger in Makpak case.
