Get started on pruning the high tree tops with this Makita combi unit and attachment kit which includes the DUX18Z, pole pruner attachment, carry bag and spare chainsaw chain.
Well balanced for comfortable use, the Makita DUX18Z power unit is powered by a single 18v LXT battery required to operate. The EY403MP pole pruner attachment comes with a 30cm / 12" bar and chain and will make pruning back high branches a breeze.
The Makita DUX18Z in is kit is also suitable for use with all of the Makita multi tool attachments. With Makita no longer making the petrol equivalent as they are so confident with the power that this machine can give you without the need for petrol.
The mechanism for exchanging the tools is quick and simple to use, you can go from trimming grass to cutting hedges in seconds. High and low speed setting with speed controlled by the trigger allows you to adjust the power to suit each task. Brushless motor so will require very little service / maintenance.
No batteries or charger is included as standard.
