Makita DUX18RT Split Shaft
Powered by a single 18v lithium ion LXT battery, this Makita split shaft combination engine offers a light weight and more portable option to its petrol counterpart. Compatible with the Makita range of split shaft attachments including a hedge trimmer, line trimmer, pole pruner and much more which are all easily attached and removed to the machine without the need of an additional tool.
Designed with variable speed control with a soft start feature for a smooth start up the Makita DUX18RT also has a brushless motor offering less serviceable parts and a longer working life. The electric brake stops the motor almost immediately after the trigger is releases for less wear and tear on the machine and minimising battery usage. Also features the Makita AFT (active feedback sensing technology), which protects the unit and user by shutting down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down.
Includes BL1850B 5Ah lithium ion battery and DC18RC compact charger as standard.
