Description
The Makita DUC353 chainsaw is powered by two 18v lithium ion batteries which are inserted one each side of the chainsaw to offer excellent balance and a comfortable working position. As the weight is balanced instead of uneven the chainsaw is easier to hold and use whilst the large separate-type metal spike bumper grips any work piece firmly to provide more control of cutting. Designed with ergonomic soft grip handles for maximum comfort and better grip of the chainsaw to reduce user fatigue and lower vibration levels.
Boasting a 14" cutter bar, this Makita chainsaw has been designed with tool-less chain tensioning to allow for quicker and easier tensioning of the chain without the need for tools. The powerful brushless motor requires less maintenance. Designed with constant speed control you can vary the speed of the chain by the amount of pressure placed when squeezing the trigger. Fitted with a kickback brake for additional safety whilst working.
As the chainsaw is battery powered there is 0 harmful emissions emitted and the noise level is much lower than a petrol counter part making it is much more comfortable to work around and ideal for noise sensitive areas as to not disturb neighbours.
Comes with 2 x 5Ah LXT batteries and twin port charger
Run time up to 650 cuts when using the BL1860 Battery, 550 cuts with the BL1850 Battery and 440 cuts when using the BL1840 Battery.
