Powered by the 18v Makita one battery fits all system, this jigsaw has been designed with a brushless motor which has been engineered to be up to 50% more efficient than its counterpart, meaning a fully charged 18v lithium ion battery will last almost twice as long as a product running with a standard motor. Designed to have a longer life span than their counterparts these high quality machines will serve you well for time to come.
Featuring a soft no load function automatically reduces the motor speed during idling to suppress the vibration of the machine body giving a 3.5m/sec² (cutting sheet metal) or 7.0m/sec² (cutting MDF). Weighing in at only 2.6kg (without battery) this lightweight jigsaw is ideal for professionals and homeowners alike. The variable speed control dial gives complete control over the cut whilst the lock button on the trigger switch can relieve fatigue when cutting larger pieces for longer periods of time.
Designed with a rigid aluminium base which bevels 0-45°; left and right and a change lever for 3 orbital settings and straight cutting. The tool-less blade change can save time and effort when it comes to changing the blade. With a newly improved dust extraction hose joint for a more superior dust extraction and a blower function to clear wood dust from the cutting line. Whilst the twin LED job light clearly lights the cleaner working area.
