Powered by a 18v lithium-ion battery from the Makita range which can power a range of tools from power tools to garden machinery. Lithium Ion power is more lightweight, gives a longer run time of up to 430% and gives a greater life span than their Ni Cad or Ni-MH counterparts. Weighing in at only 2.8kg without the battery this lightweight jig saw is very simple and easy to use.
This smooth yet powerful DJV180Z jigsaw has a high stroke speed of 2600spm. With high comfort grips to give a better grip and a more comfortable grip which is ideal for when using for longer periods of time. The low noise level of 78dB(A) and low vibration of 8m/sec² when cutting chipboard and 3.5m/sec² when cutting sheet means you get a more comfortable use in a more comfortable noise environment. The LED job light creates easy to trace cutting lines so you can ensure you give the best cut each and every time you use the DJV180Z.
