Description
The Makita DHR242Z rotary hammer drill is powered by the 18v LXT range of batteries for excellent power and performance. Offering three modes to choose from, rotary, hammer and rotary with hammer, the Makita DHR242Z is suitable for unstressed drilling, impact and chipping.
With a lightweight design, the rotary hammer drill comes with a Makita Brushless motor which offers maintenance free and long life span. With a speed range of 0 950 min-1 and an impact energy of 2.0 J, the drill offers a maximum capacity of 24mm in concrete, 27mm in wood and 13mm in steel.
SDS plus is featured on this drill to accept SDS-PLUS bits. The ergonomic soft grip on the handle allows for a comfortable grip on the machine whilst the low vibration levels mean you can use for longer periods of time without fatigue. Designed to be compact to maintain easy handling and high maneuverability so you can easily use this machine even in confined spaces. The LED job light with pre-glow and after glow functions allows full visibility on the working area.
