Designed for homeowners and DIY'ers, the Makita finishing sander is powerful and reliable delivering a 12,000 orbits per minute to offer an excellent sanding performance. Powered by 18v LXT battery power (battery not included), the sander is lightweight and features a brushless motor for reliability and long life.
This sander accepts pads to a size of 93 x 228mm with an easy to operated claim to ensure easy installation / removal of paper. The ergonomic design handle features a rubberised soft grip and will fit perfectly in the users hand for maximum comfort and control. Features a on/off switch with rubber switch cover to prevent the ingress of dust, the sander offers 3 speed of 8,000, 16,000 or 26,000 strokes per min.
The built in dust collection system has a high dust extraction rate to help keep the working area clear, the sander can also be connected to Makita Vacuum cleaners without an adapter.
Backed by a 12 month manufacturing warranty which can be extended a further 2 years when registered online with Makita within 30 days of purchase.
