Description
The Makita CS002G Metal Cutting Saw powered by 40v MAX XGT lithium ion battery for excellent power and lightweight design. With an electric brake and chip collector for simple cordless solution for cutting common metal materials.
Featuring soft start and anti-restart function for added safety, the metal cutting saw has constant speed control and will easily glide through metals you have to cut. The saw senses if the tool rotation suddenly slows down and shuts down the tool, this is active feedback sensing technology (AFT).
With a blade diameter of 185mm the saw cuts 67mm at 0º and has a no load speed of 3,500 rpm, great for cutting box, tube and angled section. A brushless motor is fitted on this model so the saw wont bog down under load. The saw is comfortable and easy to use, with a lever closely mounted to the handle to retract the guard when starting to cut. Changing the blade is easy too, with a blade changing tool fitted to the machine.
This is a tool only unit, no battery or charger is included as standard.
Please note this unit is from the Makita XGT range, LXT batteries cannot be used with this machine.
