Powered by 36v lithium ion battery technology, the chainsaw offers low noise levels making it ideal to work in noise sensitive areas such as schools, hospitals, parks and residential areas.
Featuring heated handles on the top and rear handles which provide a comfortable and warmth use in colder weather, this can easily be switch on/off on the keypad. The motor on this chainsaw is brushless to ensure a longer working life with lower maintenance requirements. Ideal for use in all-weather conditions the Husqvarna 542iXP is weatherproof to IPX4 classification.
The Husqvarna 542iXPG offers excellent performance from a cordless chainsaw and is the world's first professional battery chainsaw with a clutch. The centrifugal clutch offers kick start energy at the start if every cut which delivers a smooth cut and helps the chainsaw from getting stuck in the wood.
Automatic shutdown offers safety and prolongs the life of the battery as the machine will shut down after 3 minutes of being idle. Restarting of the chainsaw is easy thanks to the easily accessible keypad which gives you control at your fingertips. Here you can power on the saw, check the battery status and put the chainsaw in savE function which maximises run time and preserves battery life by lowering the RPM, this is ideal for light cutting. A chain oil sensor is present on the key pad which lights up when chain oil refilling is needed.
For ease of use the chainsaw comes with retained bar nuts and a flip up tank cap for easy opening.
Available in 13" or 15" bar lengths.
