How to Fit a Blade to a Brushcutter

Some machines are able to use both a strimmer head and a blade, switching between the two depending on the task at hand does not need to be difficult. For those who need to remove a strimmer head please see our guide here for assistance.

1. Postition the blade on the carrier (end of the brushcutter shaft)



2. Add the thrust washer over the top of the blade



3. Add the rider plate over the top of the thrust washer.



4. Finally add the nut to the rider plate and tighten.



This is how the blade should look when fitted.



Should you experience higher vibration levels than usual, the blade could be fitted incorrectly. Please re-follow the above steps and test again or contact your local dealer for further assistance.
