The EGO Power + CS1400E is the most powerful cordless (battery) chain saw on the market thanks to it's high efficiency brushless motor that delivers the same cutting performance as many premium petrol models, it can perform up to 100 cuts of 10cm x 10cm pine on a single charge with the 2.0Ah battery (the smallest of the range). The CS1400E features a 35cm / 14" Oregon saw chain and bar with a 3/8 pitch and chain speed of 12m/s, chain tensioning is tool free for your convenience and there is a oil window on the chain oil tank so you can see at a glance if you need to top up. Safety with chainsaws is paramount and this saw features a front mounted hand guard chain brake and electric brake to protect against kick back.
