High quality 56v, 5amp lithium ion battery for use with all the EGO cordless outdoor power tools. The EGO batteries offer long lasting power with rapid charging times and can be used in all weather conditions thanks to the unique arc design. This li-ion battery can be fully charged within 100 minutes when using the CH2100E Standard battery charger and just 40 minutes when using the CH5500E charger. At the push of a button you can check how much power is left in the battery thanks to the integrated fuel guage so you can keep check on when a battery will need to be charged.
Featuring keep cool battery technology which keeps cells cool for a longer working life even in extreme conditions. Also features the patent pending Power Management System which protects the battery pack from the most harmful elements a battery can face, including overheating and over-discharging.
