Most are unaware that we have a showroom and workshop based in Buxton with our warehouse which dispatches goods all over the UK. With a full range of garden machinery, power tools, workshop machinery,BBQ’s and much much more you can come and see what your buying before you make the final decision.
With many fully trained staff in the building and more than 1 technical team member, World of Power have the ability to answer any question you can throw at us (that’s not a challenge!!).
For those wanting help to choose the right product for their needs our members of staff are fully trained to determine what your usage and needs are to decide on the correct item for you – of course the final decision is down to you but we are here to assist and guide you through the process!
Our technical members of staff are here to show you how to start products, use them and safely store them. For example before any chainsaws / brush cutters / hedge trimmers (and many others) leave our showroom they enter our PCI service. Our technicians will take you outside to show you how to start the product, use the product and any safety / hints and tips we feel you should know. This process is valuable to most people who visit us and
learn something new.
We are here to help in all ways we possibly can, with NO sales targets or pushy sales tactics you can leave here with the right tool and any accessories required without feeling pushed into a decision.
What is PCI?
PCI is a pre collection inspection which means we take the machine and build and test it before you receive it. This allows us to ensure you receive a machine which is in full working order when you take it out the door taking away the element of disappointment with a machine which doesn’t start when you get home!
Do I have to go outside with your technician?
Although we don’t force you to go with our technician to see how your machine starts and runs we do recommend you take this offer up after all it takes a matter of minutes and who knows what you could learn! This is a completely free service which we feel is beneficial!
I have a machine I need help with…
Bring it along to our showroom and one of our technicians will be happy to help. If we cannot give any advice without a repair we can book this into our workshop for a repair, for both warranty work or a paid repair (* please check with ourselves on the brands we can deal with).
Can I bring my machine for inspection under warranty if I didn’t purchase from you?
Yes, we deal with all major brands and are warranty repair agents too meaning you can bring your machine to a local firm with a friendly nature to inspect and even repair under warranty. Any issues not covered by warranty can be repaired at a cost.
Professional chain sharpening!
Here at World of Power we offer a professional chain sharpening service through both our showroom and through the post. When brought into the showroom we will book this into our showroom and this will be sharpened within 48 hours (usually less). Or via post simply print out our chain service form and send with your chain to our showroom and within 72 hours your chain will be sharpened and returned back to you (once payment has been taken).
Bring the whole family for a fun fuelled day out in the beautiful town which is Buxton and all the surrounding areas. With something for the whole family just on one road and the beautiful peak district, Opera House, Pools Cavern and much much more in Buxton, who knows you may want to stay for more than 1 day!
