Keeping your little ones entertained in the summer holidays can be a task in itself. Having them at home for the summer is lovely, but let's be real.....they get bored easily.
We've put together some ideas to keep them entertained, giving you a happy chilled summer!
If the weather is nice then there is no better place to be than outside in the fresh air (plus it is guaranteed to tire the children out!).
Dig out your cycling shorts (or not) and go for a bike ride, this Stihl balance bike is great for younger children to learn how to balance a push bike before learning to pedal, in some cases it reduces the need for stabilisers on a bigger bike.
Do some gardening and let the children "help" with these gardening toys from Stihl and Husqvarna. They're battery operated and makes noises just like the real thing! Choose from a grass trimmer, chainsaw, blower, hedge trimmer or lawn mower.
Have a kick about. If your child is into sports then a football can keep them entertained for hours, this simple but effective toy has always been a firm favourite past time.
Go for a Picnic...BBQ style! This compact and lightweight BBQ from Landmann is perfect for summer picnics with a twist. It's easy to transport and is ideal for days at the beach, park, camping or just in your garden.
And for when the day feels like it is going to be loooong....coffee!! This Husqvarna Thermos Mug will keep your coffee warm, and keep you sane! This mug is also designed to keep cold liquids cold.
Let's go to the beach beach! If you're lucky enough to live close to the beach, or have a trip to the beach planned then these beach towels are perfect to relax on, or dry off your children after a paddle in the sea.
And if the great British weather fails us, what better way to spend a rainy afternoon indoors than with a game that will provide hours of fun. Wooden Jenga is a classic game that offers fun for all ages.
"If I knew you were coming I'd of baked a cake!" Another great indoor activity is baking. Letting children get involved is great fun for them and keeps them entertained whilst they help mix, pour and decorate. This Stihl baking tin makes a chainsaw shaped cake that I'm sure Dad will love!
What ever it is you are doing this summer, we hope you have a happy and stress free 6 weeks!
