On Monday 13th June, World of Power turns 20 Years Young!
Our mission has always been to provide customers, old and new, with high quality brands at competitive prices backed by excellent customer service. We have had roots in the garden and leisure industry going back over 30 years. Our experience is vast and we pride ourselves on our product knowledge, thanks to our team and workshop technicians receiving full ongoing technical product training from manufacturers.
World of Power has become one of the UKs premium Garden Machinery and Barbecue Internet retailers since 2002. Offering an impressive up to date range of quality leading brands that you all know and love, including; STIHL, Husqvarna, Makita, SIP and many more.
Our showroom is open to the general public and traders all year round, where you are sure to be greeted with a helpful smile and on hand advice for all your gardening needs. Offering the best face to face service, where we can show you the benefits and features of many machines. With lots of products on display for you to get hands on with and we never shy away from a quick demonstration. Although we can't display everything in the shop, we offer a full range of products on our website, where our in house Web based sales team are always happy to help over the phone.
World of Power believe that customer care is the key to a successful business. Our friendly, knowledgeable team are on hand 6 days a week to assist all our customers, and we have developed a good relationship with lots of our customers who continue to support us locally.
So to celebrate this important 20 year milestone, we would like to invite all our customers old and new to come down and visit us on Monday 13th June 9am-5pm where we will have lots of exciting things to offer, FREE bacon butties being one of them!
Makita will be here with a fully loaded DEMO van, where there will be plenty of machinery for you to get hands on with, this includes the new 80Vmax XGT Cordless 14" Stone Saw which will be put to the test.
Derbyshire Police Safer Neighbourhood Team will be here offering free tool marking. Whilst we are also raffling off an OUTBACK Ranger BBQ worth over £400 and a STIHL BGA45 Blower for a local charity BLYTHE HOUSE HOSPICE CARE. There will be enough free tea & coffee to go around to accompany your BBQ bacon butties, along with a cold smoking demonstration from our very own Smoking Shanks!
One final note, World of Power is a family run business and our team also feel like we are all part of one big happy, crazy family too and we have our wonderful MD to thank for that. So not only are we celebrating 20 years in business, we would also like to thank the boss lady for ensuring we have the best work place to turn up to each and every day.
