Battery Testers

A battery tester is a vital tool in the garage or car repair workshop, but also useful for any car owner. Most basic are the battery fluid testers, which can be used to test fluid levels in 6V, 12V, and 24V batteries. The more sophisticated moving coil battery testers assess the functional condition of any battery, not just the fluid levels, and can be used on batteries in situ in the vehicle, or when removed. They also provide information about a partially discharged battery. Information comes up as a clear reading on an LED display.

The top-of-the-range battery testers are enclosed within a steel case with a firmly-fixed carrying strap. The electronic analyser sends data to multiple LED readouts to supply the operator with information on the condition of the vehicle battery and alternator.
