Self Propelled Lawnmower with Rear Roller
The Stihl RM 655.1RS 53cm petrol rotary lawnmower is perhaps the best in it’s class and offers numerous design features that help to turn cutting the lawns from a chore to a relaxing experience. The rear roller on the RM 655.1RS model is ideal when cutting over lawn borders and also leaves the traditional ‘stripe’ effect. One all models, the ReadyStart system enables the engine to start up immediately every time.
The RM 655.1RS is based around a very durable and lightweight cast aluminium housing with replaceable skirting protectors and front lifting handle. Sitting on 2 large front wheels with high quality ball bearings and stainless steel rear roller to help cope with cutting over borders and giving those traditional stripes on the lawn. Self propelled drive is through the rear roller and controlled from the handlebars. There are 7 height of cut settings controlled by a spring assisted central handle providing settings between 20 – 80mm, there’s bound to be a setting in there for your needs. The RM 655.1RS is suitable for lawns up to 2500 m².
Featuring a blade brake clutch which allows the blade to be stopped without cutting out the engine, allowing you to safely remove the grass box. This also provides additional crankshaft protection.
The ergonomic soft grip handlebar configuration offers simple operation and easy handling with all controls within easy reach. The mono-comfort handlebar also features height adjustments for added user comfort and fold for compact storage and easy transportation. The mono-comfort handle is also designed to allow for easy fitting and removal of the grass collection box. The 75 litre vented polymer grass box features anti-dust system and full indicator for added user convenience and comfort.
The RM655.1RS is powered by the reliable Kohler HD 775 4-stroke DOV petrol engine. This engine produces 2.6kW of power at 2800 rpm at nominal working speed. No need to prime, no need to choke, no risk of flooding the engine, no risk of fouling the spark plug, just start and mow.
