Description
The MSA300 18" chainsaw is Stihl's most powerful cordless battery power chainsaw designed for the demanding professional user, the chainsaw is high powered and responsive. Featuring a powerful 3kW power output, the chainsaw has a compact design with excellent balance proving comfort for long periods of time. Featuring a 18" Light 04 guide bar and .325" RS Pro chainsaw chain for great cutting performance.
The Stihl chainsaw comes with three speed settings to choose from, this allows the chain speed to be changed dependant on the cutting job which the chainsaw is required for. Choose 20 m/s chain speeds, or ECO mode, for light work and small logs and this lowers the energy consumption and prolongs the battery life. 24m/s chain speed can be selected for all round tree felling or cutting to length and then for more demanding work 30 m/s chain speed is selected. The three speed settings are displayed on the handle within easy view for the user, the chain brake status and temperature warnings are also displayed.
Build with the user in mind, the MSA300 has an ergonomic handle and is comfortable to use for a prolonged period's. The lightweight design of the saw provides excellent balance to power ratio for total control and handling while using. The Stihl chainsaw has been designed to be used with the AP 500S lithium ion battery for best results and when used together the chainsaw is weatherproof to IPX4 rating allowing work to be completed in all weather conditions.
An integrated air filer is fitted on this model of chainsaw, for an added layer of protection from fine dust and dirt. Captive nuts on the sprocket ensure they do not get lost while adjusting the chain or bar when out and about. An adjustable oil pump is fitted to the MSA300 chainsaw, giving the user control on the oil usage.
