Stihl MH 445 Petrol Tiller
Ideal for use on confined plots of land and small flower beds, this Stihl tiller has a 45cm standard working width but offers a high degree of manouverability with compact dimensions. Built with a powerful and durable 140cc 4-stroke Briggs & Stratton petrol engine which helps make quick and easy work of turning the soil.
Designed with an anti-vibration system on the handle which absorbs the majority of vibrations from the engine which helps to minimise fatigue and allows the user to work for longer periods of time. The handle can be adjusted for maximum user comfort allowing you to guide the machine ergonomically and with minimal effort. With single throttle actuation this Stihl tiller can be steered with both hands with the throttle in easy reach of the handles so can be controlled with the thumb whilst steering.
Featuring a special shaped blade which turns over soil efficiently with an optimised burrowing action which will dig into the ground to break up clods of earth and mix the soil with an optimised burrowing action. Also included is a dividable hoe set which allows the working width to be adjusted down to 25cm allowing plants to be plated in rows closer to one another. The lateral discs protects existing plants from sustaining damage whilst tilling.
Designed with a brake spur which can be used to adjust the blade entry depth, this 180° swiveling spur makes it easier to work with the tiller in narrow passages and bends. Easy to access this spur can be set to 3 different heights to suit the working conditions required with precision control.
The transport wheels can be used to transport the petrol tiller with ease and also when the tiller is tipped on the wheels it gives easier access to the blades, when the tiller is in use the wheels can be folded up.
