Description
Designed to take on the toughest, most demanding work the Stihl HSA150R is an extremely powerful cordless hedge cutters for working within professional landscaping and garden maintenance sector. With comparable performance to rival a petrol HS87 hedge trimmer, the Stihl HSA150R is part of the Stihl AP 36v lithium ion battery range which provides long run times and quick acceleration.
The Stihl HSA150R comes with a 30" single sided blade which features a catcher plate and a tip protector. The single sided blade adds increased safety as, when used correctly, the operator cannot touch their leg with the blade when working. With ergonomic handle positioning the HSA150 reduces strain on the wrist and is well balanced thanks to the central position of the battery slot.
With low blade speeds, the hedgecutter is ideal for annual cutting of hedges and reduction work, Three speed settings of 3,400, 3,00 and 2,600 RPM can be selected to each task. When used with the AP200S battery the hedge trimmer has a run time of 150 minutes on power level 1 or 100 minutes on level 3. Anti-jamming function detects if the blades are jammed in thicker material and will change rotation direction automatically to unlock the blades.
The spur gear on the HSA150R has been replaced with a two step planetary gear with integrated slip clutch to protect the gearbox, this leads to a higher cutting force. IPX4 rated the hedge trimmer can be used in all weather conditions.
