Description
The Stihl HSA140R hedge trimmer offers excellent power and performance to professional users designed to tackle demanding pruning work in landscaping and garden maintenance sector. With performance comparable to petrol HS82 hedge trimmer, the Stihl HSA140R is powered by the Stihl 36v AP range of batteries for long run times with quick acceleration to the required blade speed. With low noise levels and low vibrations the hedge trimmer can be used in noise sensitive areas such as hospitals, schools and public parks.
The hedge trimmer comes with low blade speeds and is designed for working on annual pruning of hedges and reduction work. With a tooth spacing of 38mm, the HSA140R is can efficiently cut through thicker twigs and branches precisely with a constant stroke rate, choose from either 3,200, 3,000 or 2,800 RPM. An anti-jamming function is featured on this model, so if the blade get stuck on a thicker branch the tool will help release the jam by simply releasing the trigger then pull it again and the blades will move in the opposite direction.
With a battery slot the HSA140R hedge cutter is designed to be used with the AP battery range for long run times and when used with the AP200S offers excellent balance. For comfortable use for long periods of time, the hedge trimmer comes with a rotating rear handle for use on all angles when working on top or side hedge cutting.
Featuring double sided blades in either 24” or 30” blade lengths, the hedge trimmer is rated to IPX4 for use in all weather conditions.
