Offering a large 46cm (18") cutting deck, he Makita ELM4621X comes with a powerful 1800W electric motor. The main cutting deck of this mower is made from robust steel and sits on 4 wheels, the 2 rear wheels being larger for greater manoeuvrability around the garden. The lawn mower offers a multi purpose blade give the user the option of cutting the grass and collecting it with the grass collector, or alternatively using the mulch plug and mulching the grass clippings. Mulching finely chops the grass clippings and drops them back on the lawn, removing the need for the grass collector and providing the lawn with an organic fertiliser resulting in a lush, green lawn.
The ELM4621X offers a range of 8 cutting heights from 20 - 75mm making the lawn mower versatile for every grass type, the highest setting is ideal for longer grass or for the first cut of the year, then lower settings can then be used for keeping on top of trimming the grass. The grass cutting are collected into the rear mounted collector with hard top and soft bag with a capacity of 60 litres, meaning fewer trips to the the compost heap.
The ELM4621X is a self propelled lawnmower and is suitable for lawns up to 1000 sq metres.
