Supplying Goods Since 1993!
World of Power was born from a division of a company created in 1993. Today, over 30 years later we still have a founding Director in place. The original company was formed to meet the demanding needs of the UK Insurance Industry with the replacement of Power Tools, Garden Machinery, Workshop Equipment and Barbecues. Born off the back of this, World of Power has been able to build on these already established relationships with suppliers and knowledge base learnt, so we can safely say we have an excellent reputation of being the best service provider in this specialist market.
Online since 2002!
We were one of the first garden machinery dealers to launch in the world of online sales with our website first launching back in 2002! Things were a little different back then with lots of manual keying of orders and of course payment systems were nowhere near as close to secure as they are now.
We pride ourselves on our WorldofPower.co.uk website and constantly strive to offer an excellent customer experience, backed by the quality products that we sell. The website is under constant improvement throughout the year to improve visuals and offerings.
Not only does our website offer a wide range of products, you will also see additional services available including pre-assembly of your tool so it arrives to you in a box ready to use* and a BBQ build service for local deliveries.

Within our range you will only find quality brands including Stihl, Makita, Milwaukee, Husqvarna, Flymo and much more. We also have full access to a wide range of spare parts from all brands we sell to ensure we can offer you the very best technical back up should this be required. When it comes to selling products, we would rather not sell something than sell the wrong item or something we could not offer back up on.

Our team may be small, but they are on hand 5 days and week in the office and 6 days a week in our Buxton showroom.

Aftersales Support
We are not just about selling boxes. The World of Power ethos is about ensuring our customers are happy pre- and post-purchase, to ensure they have the best experience when purchasing goods. Whether you only spend a couple of £’s on an accessory or £1000’s on tools and machinery we want to ensure you have a pleasurable experience.
Should you have an issue with any item which has been delivered our team are on hand via telephone, live chat, or email. For those issues which cannot be done via these means we can offer a timed video call so we can see any physical issues or talk you through any issues you may have. If we can’t rectify a problem via these means we will ask you to box the item up and we will arrange for one of our dedicated couriers to collect and return the goods directly back to our workshop. Where our qualified technician will inspect and repair (if possible) before sending this back to you on a next working day delivery.
Whether you purchased the item originally from our showroom or online store OR any other dealer we will welcome you into our showroom for any advice / warranty issues / paid repairs, you will never be turned away, just another reason why our team offer the best customer service in the business.
Servicing
Within our workshop we are also able to offer the service of sharpening consumable items such as chainsaw chains, lawnmower blades and hedge trimmer blades. These can be bought into our showroom and booked in or popped in the post to our address below where we will sharpen and return to you quickly.
We can also service machines by replacing consumable items such as air filters, fuel filters and much more along side our repair service. Simply bring your machine along to our Buxton showroom and our team will book this in for a quote to repair / service – whatever your machine may need.

Trained Sales Team
Our sales team attend dedicated training days from all the manufacturing brands which we sell often to refresh information, learn about new products, and get hands on with new products being introduced to ranges. Each member of the team also receives training from our in-house technician to keep our knowledge current and up to date.
Trained Technician
We have a dedicated technician on site who has been trained by many of the brands we sell on how to maintain and repair garden machinery and tools. Courses provided by manufacturers such as Stihl, Makita, Husqvarna and many more means we are an authorized warranty agent for many brands giving us the ability to back up every product we sell. If we cannot back it up, we simply will won’t sell it!
Fast & Reliable Delivery
We have a number of dedicated courier services within our network allowing us to offer you fast, efficient and reliable delivery. Currently this network includes Royal Mail, APC, Parcel Force and Pallet Ways for those larger heavier deliveries which need to be delivered securely. Pallet deliveries cost around 70% more than parcel deliveries but this ensures your product arrives to you in the very best condition possible.
With many products online you can select next day delivery, standard delivery, or Saturday delivery to suit your needs. We can even deliver to a different delivery address should no one be home to accept the delivery, simply enter the different shipping address within the shopping cart then sit back and relax whilst we pick, pack and deliver your goods to you.

Our large showroom in Buxton, Derbyshire is jam packed with the very latest seasonal tools, machinery, and accessories, so should you wish to come and view an item before purchase you will always be more than welcome. Our dedicated showroom team are fully trained in the use of the tools and the features and benefits of each. We are situated just 2 minutes from the center of Buxton, it’s definitely well worth a day trip visit to the beautiful Buxton!
